GTM AI Index
Sponsorship

Fund the depth, never the placement

The index runs on published prompts, published weights and a measured noise floor. Sponsors pay for more of that: more categories sooner, more prompt framings, more models, more calibration. Nothing a sponsor pays for changes how any product is scored.

At full scope

What one edition becomes once every category in the taxonomy is running, projected from this run's measured rates. The home page carries only measured figures; this is the size of the instrument sponsorship builds.

The rules

Stated before any money moves, and printed on every sponsored page.
Scoring

A sponsored category is scored like every other

Same prompts, same models, same judge, same weights, same vendor table. The sponsor sees the results when everyone else does.

Disclosure

Every sponsor is named on the page it funded

A sponsored category page says who paid for it and what they paid for. A sponsor whose product appears in that category is disclosed a second time, next to the standing.

Data

The raw record stays public

Every prompt, answer and judge label in a sponsored category is published like every other, so anyone can check that the sponsorship changed nothing.

Independence

No veto, no preview, no edits

Sponsors do not see results early, do not review copy, and cannot withdraw a category once it has run. A category that embarrasses its sponsor is published anyway.

What sponsorship funds

Three ways in. Prices are set per edition and are the same for every sponsor.
Category sponsor
Bring a category forward
Move an open category into the next edition. Funds the prompt set, the run, the judging, the vendor table work and a calibration repeat for that category, for twelve monthly editions.
Depth sponsor
Tighten every number
Funds additional prompt framings, an additional model, or a new buyer dimension (a company size, an industry, the job-to-be-done framing, human buyers) across the whole index. Each category currently rests on 24 first-choice observations; this is how that number goes up for everyone.
Edition sponsor
Underwrite an edition
Funds a full monthly edition or a special edition after a frontier model release, including the written analysis. Named on the edition, not on any category.

Fund a dimension

A category sponsor gets a page. A dimension sponsor gets their name on every category page of that run, because a dimension reruns every category for a new kind of buyer. Units are at today's scope of 14 categories and grow as categories are added.

Human buyers is a different kind of work, with panels and incentives rather than model calls, and runs as a separate program on a longer timeline.

Categories available

Planned categories are in the build queue and can be moved up. Open categories run when a sponsor brings them forward.

Say what you'd fund and we'll reply with the unit, the timeline and the disclosure that comes with it. No pricing is published; every sponsor pays the same rate per unit.
Goes to the index's inbox; a Gane form replaces this later.

Who this is for

Vendors who want to know, monthly and with an error bar, what six frontier models tell buyers about their category. Agencies and analysts who need a citable source for AI recommendation behaviour. Anyone who would rather fund a public dataset than buy a private one. The author's company, Gane, is building an operating system for B2B go-to-market and overlaps with two covered categories; both carry a disclosure, and Gane sponsoring the index would be disclosed the same way.
